Mountain 2024

About the work

The single character for mountain, brushed in heavy ink with flying-white, three peaks rising and falling within one gesture. The hangul colophon carries Master Naong’s Seon verse: "The blue mountain tells me to live without words; the open sky tells me to live without stain." Written in spring 2024.
